Code of Conduct

Buying a ticket and walking through the door means you agree to this code. It is short because it is not complicated.

Consent first, every time

Ask before you touch. A yes to one thing is not a yes to everything, and a yes earlier in the night is not a yes later. Anyone can stop at any point, for any reason, without explaining themselves.

The armbands

Every man gets a band at the door.

• Yellow, Yes Sir. Open to play. You can be approached. Open does not mean automatic: ask first, every time.
• Red, No Sir. Not playing tonight. Talking is fine, touching is not.

You can swap your band at the door at any time, with no questions asked.

RED

RED is the safe word. Whatever band a man is wearing, if he says RED, everything stops immediately. If someone does not stop, tell a Daddy straight away.

The Daddies

The Daddies are our team, in red glowing bands. They are there for consent and safety. If you feel unsafe, if someone will not take no, or if you just need a moment, find one. What Daddy says, goes.

No drugs

Do not bring drugs and do not deal at our events. Anyone visibly intoxicated will be refused entry or removed.

No cameras

Phones are allowed, cameras are sealed at the door. No photos or filming inside, of anyone, ever. This is not negotiable and it is the thing we remove people for fastest. If you see a lens out, tell a Daddy.

Respect

No harassment. No racism, no body shaming, no aggression. Not everyone is here for the same thing, and nobody owes you their attention.

Dress code

Gear is required. See the dress code in the rules on our home page. Not welcome: Nazi military dress, or gore.

If something goes wrong

Tell a Daddy at the event. If you would rather raise it afterwards, email info@flth.co.za. We read everything and we take it seriously.

Consequences

Breaking this code means being removed without a refund, and may mean being refused entry to future events.
