Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information FLTH collects through https://flth.co.za/, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to meet the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Who is responsible

FLTH, Cape Town, South Africa, is the responsible party for the information described here. You can reach us at info@flth.co.za about anything on this page.

What we collect, and why

Mailing list

If you join our mailing list we store your email address and the date you confirmed. We use it to tell you about upcoming events. Nothing else. We use double opt-in, which means your address is only added after you click a confirmation link we email you, so we can always show that you asked to be on the list.

Contact form

When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address and message. The message is emailed to us and is not stored on the website. We keep the email for as long as we need it to answer you.

Tickets

Tickets are sold by FIXR, not by us. When you buy a ticket you are dealing with FIXR and their privacy policy applies to that purchase. We receive a list of ticket holders for the event so we can manage the door. We do not receive your card details at any point.

Website logs

Our hosting keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

What we never do

• We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
• We do not build profiles of who attends, who plays, or what anyone does at an event.
• We do not photograph or film inside our events, so we hold no images of attendees.

Who else processes it

• Brevo stores and sends our mailing list.
• FIXR handles ticketing.
• Our web host stores the website and its logs.

Some of these providers operate outside South Africa, which means your information may be processed in another country under that country’s laws.

How long we keep it

Mailing list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact emails are kept for up to twelve months. Ticket holder lists are deleted within three months of the event.

Your rights

Under POPIA you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to us using it. Every mailing has an unsubscribe link, which takes effect immediately. For anything else, email info@flth.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time.

If you believe we have handled your information badly, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Discretion

We understand that being on a list connected to a fetish event is sensitive. We keep the list small, we keep it in one place, and we do not share it. If you would rather not be on it at all, you can still buy a ticket and attend.
