For visitors to Cape Town

South Africa protects sexual orientation in its constitution, and Cape Town has an established gay scene, most visibly around De Waterkant. What the city has had less of is a dedicated fetish floor for men. That is what FLTH is.

Visitors are welcome and there is no membership. Buy a ticket like anyone else, bring your passport or photo ID for the 18+ check at the door, and read our dress code guide before you pack. Men travelling to Cape Town regularly turn up with a harness and boots in their luggage and nothing else, and that is plenty.

What kind of night it is

A DJ and a dance floor, and separate play zones. Gear is compulsory, consent is enforced by a team called the Daddies, and no filming is allowed anywhere inside. It is 18+, men only, and card only at the door.

It is a fetish night rather than a sex club: plenty of men come to dance in gear and never play at all.

When it happens

Getting there and getting home

Use e-hailing or a taxi in both directions. Do not plan on driving, and do not walk home alone at night in an unfamiliar part of the city.
